该计算器由中远海运集装箱运输有限公司与上海海事大学合作开发，经第三方独立机构DNV认证。
According to Guideline MEPC.1/Circ.684 enacted by IMO, COSCO Shipping Lines has provided an advanced dynamic carbon emissions calculating system faced to global customers, which is implemented based on actual dynamic data of COSCO Shipping Lines-operated vessels. Hereby, customer is able to calculate the carbon emissions attributed to their cargo's ocean transport based on cargo quantity, trip mileage, and optimized EEOI parameter. The calculated emissions may deflect from actual emissions subject to actual sailing conditions, operation condition, etc, and COSCO Shipping Lines does not take any legal responsibility whatsoever for the calculated results being applied.
The system is cooperatively-developed by COSCO Shipping Lines and Shanghai Maritime University, and authorized by 3-rd-party classification society DNV.
